  2. Hi Rachelle,
No these pups haven't been trained. But more importantly they are really young puppies about 5 or 6 weeks I would guess and therefore they are open to new and novel situations. They are designed to learn at a rapid rate at this age and that is what you literally see happening in front of your eyes. They are dropped in a sealed room with new pups and new animals! It is interesting to see which ones are more willing to investigate. Also how they huddle together sometimes as a litter would even though they have come from differennt litters. Lovely video. Thanks, Karen.

Been looking for your email address without success.
We have details of your show, which sounds great.
like to bring to your attention there is no provision for Working Group on the Pedigee Section. (Usually classes with Pastoral)
    Kind regards John

  4. Well, puppy socialization is not that scary and difficult, is it? In a lot of ways, socializing a young puppy is very similar to raising a young child, but the process is much quicker and a lot less expensive!

  5. We got our Bichon puppy at 4 months of age from a breeder. His sister would not come near us. He bonded with my husband and myself immediately. But he is deathly afraid of people. We did 6 weeks of training. It took 4 weeks for him to take a treat from the teacher then he'd run away. If we have people over he barks the whole time. We are at our wits end trying to get him socialized and it is not working. He was urinating all over the house until he was neutered. Yesterday someone came over and in between all the barking he started wetting the rugs again. Any suggestions as to how we can get rid of his fear of people?
